What full front, full body and partial PPF each cover

Coverage is the single biggest decision you will make, and it is worth being specific about what each one protects.

• Full front — full hood, full fenders, front bumper, mirror caps and headlights. This is the package that stops the damage most cars actually take, and it starts at $1,400.
• Full body — every painted panel, wrapped edges where the panel allows. Chosen most often for dark, soft or hard-to-match factory paint.
• Partial — the leading edge of the hood and fenders, plus mirrors. Sometimes called a "partial front". It is the lowest-cost way to cover the highest-impact area, though the cut line across the hood is visible at an angle in direct sun.
• High-wear extras — door cups, door edges, rocker panels, the rear loading lip and A-pillars. These are cheap to add during the main install and expensive to address later.

How we install PPF

The film is only as good as the surface under it, so most of the work happens before any urethane comes off the roll.

• Inspection. We photograph the car on arrival and point out any existing chips, scratches or previous bodywork. Film locks in whatever is underneath it, so anything that needs correcting gets flagged before we start.
• Decontamination and paint prep. A full wash, chemical decontamination and clay, then a machine polish where the paint needs it so the film goes down over corrected paint rather than over swirls.
• Disassembly. Where a panel allows it, we remove badges, trim, lights and mirror caps so the film can be wrapped around the edge instead of cut on the paint. Wrapped edges are why a good install does not lift.
• Install. Patterns are plotted for your exact vehicle, then squeegeed with slip solution. Bulk-cut sections are cut off the car, never on it.
• Cure and check. The car sits so the adhesive can set before it goes back out, then we walk the whole car with you under lights.

Every PPF installation is backed by a 10-year material warranty covering yellowing, cracking, bubbling and delamination. Self-healing top coats close light swirls and wash marks with heat — sun, warm water or a heat gun.
