The process

- Strip. The old finish is removed completely, chemically or by media blasting.
- Repair. Kerb rash and gouges are filled and sanded back to profile before anything is applied.
- Coat and bake. Powder is applied electrostatically and cured in an oven so it flows into one continuous film.
- Rebuild. Tyres refitted, balanced and torqued.
Finishes
Gloss black, satin black and matte black are the volume choices. Bronze, gunmetal, silver and white all come up regularly, and a two-tone — machined face with a coloured barrel — is achievable with masking.
